Anyone have any recent experience with 'Pat G' tunes?
I'll start by saying that in my research I've seen nothing but great praise for this guy. I contacted him earlier this year and got a custom spec cam and started getting tunes. Lately contact has been a bit sporadic though. Maybe I'm missing something (and I sincerely apologize if so) but I've been waiting 5 weeks now for a response to a log I sent. Is he just really really busy and this is expected behavior? I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the quickest guy to take logs and get them sent but this seems a bit long.
Any input would be great.

He's been "super busy" with ad agency he owns - his primary bread and butter. I suspect that as car dealers (some of his bigger customers in Victoria) move to the end of the year -- they need to move cars -- thus I would suspect he is either selling or in various states of marketing production with them. ....just surmising.
The guy is super high integrity.

Right on. Thanks for the insight. Everything has been great so far. I just didn't want to be missing some major news event because I've been a bit out of the loop.

The PO of my car had the same issue so went to Rick who is also a very busy person. I ended up finding a local guy that's tuning all sorts of race cars and street cars in a conservative manner and used him on the dyno that the car had a safe tune.
Both Pat and Rick are great, but unless you have no one local, nothing beats the guys sitting in the car with you IMO.
Since we're not far away, I can hook you up with him. Many in our Holden club have used him.

Pat G might be busy but well worth the wait. I've been using him for over 4yrs and he is great at what he does that's tuning cars. He will always answer your questions and will tune the car to your liking. I got the shaft using local tuners up here in WA that cost me $$$ and heart ache should've gone with PatG to began with so choose right the first time and LISTEN to folks on here it will save you time and $$$$. That coming from a 6+ yrs G8 GT owner with lots of MOD's. Just my 2 cents worth.
