I'm real close to buying a GXP but continue to struggle with the color decission. I think I like silver the best because it is probably the easiest to maintain and looks great in all lighting conditions. (I've always had black cars)
Unfortunatly, I can't find a sweet deal on a Silver one with the options I'm looking for. (6M, all black interior, no roof) I can however get a great deal on one with the same options in Slate Blue. My question for the Slate blue owners (probably GT's) is how do they like it after owning it for a while? My price on the slate blue GXP is $39.2K less $3K rebates, less $2k dealer cash, less $1K GM card points or $33.2K.

Actually, most of us got a Black one. ;)
The most produced color is Panther Black.
I think red was 2nd.

That's a great price. I love my PSM color. It isn't a common color and lighting changes can make a noticeable difference. If silver is your choice you might just have to hold off and keep searching.

Have you thought about Sport Red Metallic or White Hot???
You have to do what you have to do... Personally, I like PSM very much... Looks great in sunlight.... a bit dark at night.....
But... Have the top 2! (09' & 08'!) Silver is blaaah! Love black, but not with lots of silver mixed in.... Believe me... I would have a solid BLACK g8 IN A NEW YORK MINUTE!
JUST GET IT AND LOVE IT LIKE THE REST OF US DO!!! And then waste your money on mods.... Before I'm done... I'll have a cheap G8 in mod costs!!!! and I'm cheap compared to many of us....

PSM is hard to photograph though. Liquid Red always shows good. :)

Liquid Red is faster, especially if a Panther black one is around! lol Seriously, I love the Silver. Elegant, classy, sporty etc.

PSM is guaranteed several seconds faster at the strip. Also, You will have trouble finding time for runs since all the really HOT chicks get wet when they see PSM. Hell, I'm 65 and going broke buying Viagra. From now on, it's BYOV! :P

Thanks for feedback. I'm going for the PSM!
I'm 43 with 3 kids, soon to be teenagers. This is my path to a practical Vette before I have to shell out $3/4M for college. By the time I'm done with that I will be 60, broke and these cars will be regulated off the planet!

Don't get the sport red. I went and checked one out today...that thing was fugly....my car is twice as good looking. The wheels looked cheap...like they was chrome plated plastic covers. Plus they had a $5000 markup for '' paint and interior protective coating''.....so the price was $45000.
They also had another gt with the chrome wire mesh grill thingy....it was put on over the black plastic grill....I thought you took out the plastic stuff, when installilng that.
