What would it take? G8 to GXP…

What would motivate you to trade\buy a GPX. All things being equal I mean such as secure finances, mods U already have made etc.

For me it would be keyless start\stop button, a couple more dash color choices, popup NAV ala CTS, gas struts and tighter suspension…I’ll leave the engine as is for some Charley mods… :charlie3:

I paid under sticker, but it was still 30K. The car is worth what? 18-19K?

A GXP is almost 40K.

20K plus my car isn't realistic.

I wuz gonna try it when they totalled my '08. Problem #1 - No Pacific Slate for GXP available anywhere at the time. :(

Money would have to be no object cause It would cost me a ton to make the trade. But the GXPs would have to have a lot more performance gains over the GTs to make it tempting for me.

It would've had to come with a Nav/Bluetooth option for me to even consider.

I would like to see some weight saving materials used for me to consider a GXP(get it under 3900 lbs)....still I'm too young to afford one.

Even if it was the same price as my GT they would have to cut the weight considerably to improve gas mileage. 13 20 is just not feasible for me as a daily driver unless those numbers are dead on, when my dodge does that already.

I've modded my G8 to suit me. That car is now part of my character. I'm not giving it up for a GXP or anything else.
If I get another car, which doesn't seems to be in my plans, it will be a black Camaro SS.
...or some twin turbo Ford V-6. LOL
