Owners manual says 87 octane unless your hear knocking then use a higher octane. I plan on using premium anyway even though I'm not going to modify anything. What are you using?

The 93 will let the computer give you more timing with out a tune and not pull timing out either. Noticable difference after a few tanks. Then we can start modding! lol

Premium. although it's not required it does give these cars the best performance.

When running 87 I noticed 2-3 degrees of knock, when running 89, it was much better however I still saw spikes up to 2 degrees, on 91 there was no knock at all.

So I wouldn't run anything higher than 91 on the stock tune, but it also depends on the gas your using.

I ran 87 until I was tuned for 93.

I seem to recall endless debates on that "other forum" <<<<<<<<< over there (ack!) between the money huggers and the mileage maniacs. As I remember it, several months of heated debate with several death threats and challanges to a duel, amounted to about a wash. 90+ costs more, but increases mileage. Now that gas is dirt cheap again, go premium. Your L76 will love you for it. :p
