I've heard mixed opinions on these rockers for our heads. I know New Era sells them, but on tech they have yet to carry a name for themselves as the ls1's Ultralite models have. I myself in fact, am about to order some for TA to swap in while replacing my bronze guides in my heads.
Just wondering if anyone on here has them or has any experiences on our motors.

I have them on my G8, it quieted down the valvetrain a little bit with the cam install. Take off one of your stock rockers, and hold the fulcrum in between 2 fingers and feel the slop it has along with the fact that it has a stop, these are much more durable and have a better swipe pattern over the tip of the valve. I reccomend them with any cam swap.

Thanks for the info Mike. I'm not personally planning on swapping them out on my G8, just was wondering for info purposes just in case a question like that or similar about rockers/aftermarket rockers may arise.

How much pre load is in the G8 lifters stock. I swapped a set of SLP rockers and it seems they fall short on preload. Tick on startup, goes away after a minute of running. How much will stock valve springs handle? Will they take a 1.8 or 1.85 with a stock cam?

I have never used slp rockers on anything, so I can't answer that question. But I don't think you should increase the rocker arm ratio without changing valve springs on the g8.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe that is why it is falling a little flat up top compared to before and mph dropped a little last trip to the track. Guess I'll be installing those springs before the cam after all.

That would be exactly why.

Hi. What kind of HP can be expected by replacing the rockers?

My experience is 7-10 hp IF the springs are good. The hp is good, but it being better for the valve train is whats really important.

Exactly what I was taught, Never expect any hp gains out of springs/lifters/rockers just be glad you have a more reliable valvetrain.

The 1.85 rockers adds 5 degrees at the valve when comparing it to a 1.7 rocker and bumps the lift to .514".
The downside is finding cam lobes to work with the high ratio rocker for a dod street application. Alot of LS cams are high .500's, low .600's on the lift and designed around a 1.7 rocker. A .600" lift cam turns into .653" which isn't real street friendly on springs with the short duration. Luckily Lunati have some new lobes that will work for me.
