I know that you should'nt be concerned about fuel mileage when your going for HP but when fuel prices get back up again just like to know a ball park MPG from those that have a maggie 1900 . thanks

I think that it doesn't change or it might even get better. I could be wrong though.

I was told +1 MPG on a stock car, most likely no change on a car with a CAI. I think it's because even when bypassed (normal driving) the air still passes through the intercooler.

Using the tune provided by MagnaCharger you won't see ANY improvement in mileage. After discussing it with their tuner, he specifically said that they didn't change the base tables for part-throttle and the like. It is only the high flow (= boost) conditions that they developed their tune for.

The folks with dyno tunes apparently have had a good bit more work done on the tune. This is one of my concerns with the base tune (and that it is for 91 octane which isn't what most of us need).

How does the transmission handle the extra torque and power produced by the Magnacharger?
