Does anyone make a direct replacement tube/elbow from the throttle body to the stock airbox that eliminates the baffles in the stock elbow?

I think you need those baffles with the stock air box. My understanding is it is
a air reservoir. But maybe Charlie can clear that up.

It's a resonator. It's design is to cut down on noise in the intake stream. Removing that only increases the sound.
I know someone has done that but I can't find it.

I did this one as a temporary solution, but I've grown to like it...clean look. I used a 3.5" aluminum tube that was bent to 115 deg with a 6" radius. I used available flex couplings to to attach at each end. I fabricated an adapter for the vent tube and welded it in, this retained the push lock connector to easily swap out with the OE box.

Thanks for posting. I forgot who did it. Inland Empire is my old stomping grounds.

You can get a 4" flexible tube made by Spectre at Pep Boys for around $25.

I am assuming this is a one-off thing that you fabbed for yourself?? Any chance this can re-produced for those of us without access to a pipe bender or any form of welding??
I heard good things about the Yella Terra, Livernoise can get ya one.

Did this tube ever become available by K&N?

i have the yella terra works just fine
my GTO friend just picked up a lingenfelter intake for this car.. so he gave me his stock tubing..
had to use a different piece of hose for the "pcv?" but it looks stock, and cutout ALL those resonators. Engine sounds a little louder and throttle feels a LITTLE more responsive.
still stock airbox and filter though.

The pictures of his "temporary" setup are exactly what I want. I'm not looking to make a "custom" Home Depot CAI.
