They need some studs. Oh, I forgot those are banned in Canada. With all the snow they get I could never understand that. They "scratch the road"

No because if everyone had them they would destroy the roads, they already go through enough. A good set of winter tires and a little common sence is all you need.

That being said, places will still stud tires.

That was me 2 and a half years ago before I got my G8.... Stupid cop never caught me!

Yeah, I live on the border and years ago I went to Toronto as a tourist and the inspector at the bridge let me in with the studs just saying "don't get pulled over". Well that didn't work out and I got a ticket. So I scratched any more trips to Canada that year.

I don't use studs anymore though.

Ha, it sat for almost a month. I grew up in Winnipeg where snow was a way of life.
