Check Oil on dash

My check oil light will come on for a couple of days, then go away for a week or so. Obviously I have check it, level is fine, pressures fine. Any ideas what the hell this could be? Sensor going bad maybe?

Sounds like a sensor. Does it throw a code? Do you have away to check for codes? It is not bad to get to

The oil level sensor is on the oil pan. It's easy to replace.
