trying to set up my PPV radio to Mirror from my IPhone 5 I have the video adapter one connector is used for backup camera but now I want to set up so I can mirror my phones navigation on the screen. Anyone tried this ?

Almost I'll be using video input line. As if it's a DVD.

I got a hdmi to video converter. So and hdmi input plays in DVD mode.

Waiting for some parts so I can fit me dock.
I got an android phone tho.

There are at least 3 ways to do it Roman. If your phone is NOT jailbroken, the easiest way is to use an HDMI video converter. See the parts below for what is needed. The only thing missing is the HDMI cable (and iphone of course).

Connect the white HDMI A/V adapter (get from Apple) to your iphone. Connect HDMI cable from adapter to HDMI converter. Connect RCA cables from HDMI converter to radio RCA connectors. Power converter with USB cable. I have these parts I can sell you if you want. Send me a PM if interested.

My iphone is jailbroken which eliminates the need for the converter and HDMI adapter.

I got it from Chinaland.
I was told a simple adapter wouldn't work.
I tested it on my TV and it displayed my phone the same as hdmi excited less quality. There's others that keep it hi Def. But the input is only one video plug anyway. So the hardware of the Ppv unit don't except it. It may be possible but I don't know.
I only want it to display Google maps so it will be fine for me.

Roman I assumed you had the aux audio cable as well. As mentioned in my PM you will need to make one or buy one. The Blaupunkt G8 radio uses the same connector but it will need to be repinned for the iQ radio.
