The trans is out and I can see that it is my oil pan that is seeping, so I should have the engine tore apart by Sunday.

I think those are Rod Lites.... Drag lites are the round holes... I believe.

Congrats! 1 cool and clean ride!

You happen to know the knurl size of the G8 wheel studs? I haven't had time to knock one of mine out to measure them with my machinist calipers.

.606 Moroso is the only ones that I could find with .615 and their site said for a .606-.613 hole. Part #46180 Front and rear are the same.

Note: the factory studs are 14 x 1.5 and the Moroso are 1/2 x20

I've got a couple of metric micrometers somewhere. If I find it in the box somewhere in the garage, I'll send you one.
Hate to see someone use a caliper to measure a stud. :)

I appreciate the offer but you don't need to be THAT precise. Besides machinist dial calipers can be VERY accurate. I have a full set of micrometers too but just don't need them for a measurement like this. Once again, thanks for the offer though.

It's ok Robert. I'm so used to the premise of 10 to 1 accuracy to tolerance. It's built in now. :D
I used a standard Mitutoyo 0-1" micrometer to measure accurately to .0002". Some people would need an indicating mike, some don't.

Hehe no problem man. Down to .001" is sufficient accuracy for a lower tolerance item like a wheel stud knurl measurement. Hey, it never hurts to get more accurate if you want to though.

I meant are they the regular ET Street (bias ply), ET Street Radial (radial), or ET Street Radial II (radial).

ET Streets, non DRs. I need all the traction I can get. I have some of the DRs I had on my Mach, but with almost a 100 more HP then the Stang, they are not going to do me much good.

Pretty sure those are a bias ply tire, which means you should do a bias ply front rather than a radial front.

I know you shouldn't mix Bias Ply and Radials on the street, but how much difference does it make for passes down the 1/4?

Next to none. If it was wet or cornering, HUGE difference!

You usually encounter more asswobble on the big end of the track. Just got to make sure that even though the car may be pointing left or right swaying back and forth to NOT steer into it. Just keep the wheel more or less straight. Any of you that make it to the track often know what I mean.

Now with a drag radial you will not really have to worry about that unless you underinflate the piss out of them.

Need 3 inch for NHRA in rear with slicks. Factory studs are 14 x 1.50 which would have meant maching the holes in the wheel. By putting 1/2 x 20 I killed all the birds with 1 stone. The shank on the nuts is 1 3/8 + the nut part, so more then covers safety/rules.

17" slicks?

No. I had an issue with ET streets 1 time years ago. They said it was an ET drag with 4 grooves, which technically it is. I didnt have a choice on the studs, so if I was going to do it I only wanted to do it once.
