How many of you have tinted your tails?

I work at a Pontiac Dealership and ask my guys at the bodyshop to tint my tails lightly. Well They did what I ask but I overlooked the fact that the housings were already black inside. I think it's a bit too dark, what do you guys think?

I may need to swap these for some non-tinted GT lenses..

You can still see the chrome and housings through the tint easily but the car is so bright that they looook dark!

I have. Yours look slightly darker than mine but its hard to tell.

Yeah they look dark but I'll trade you my clear GT tails if you don't like them.

I like the factory ones,but I do want to have the windows tinted.

It's only too dark if the light isn't bright enough for other drivers. I think it looks GRRRR8.

Dark is good :) but i DO need brighter bulbs.. just can't find'm..

Do you have any trouble seeing the brake lights? I think they look good, and plan on doing mine soon. I can't remember where in OH you are, but I'd meet you if you wanted to swap.

a little too dark to be on a white vehicle IMO. would look better on a darker color

I'm in Cincinnati and would consider swapping as long as I don't have to ship. This is going to be the wife's daily driver and can't have downtime.

I'll let you know, I'm going to stop back at the body shop today and see if we can wetsand them down some and re clear them. I love the look just a tad too dark but the wife says WTF.. So I just need them to be lighter or stock.

I will let you know after I talk to Brian, my guess it I can wetsand them lighter and have him re-clear them and they would be ok..

Mine are being done as I type. Should have some pick up Sat. Also did the white side markers as well.

Post up some pics when you get a chance if you don't mind, I'd like to see the side markers tinted.
