Well, after many conversations, reviewing of write-ups & install threads...

...I ordered a TVS1900 for my G8. This compressor is head-and-shoulders ahead of the previous Maggies; install is a piece of cake (and that is significant; I just don't have the time to put into a car like I have had in the past); performance is good for the type of driving I like to do (runnin' the twisties!). A cam + headers would serve me well, but the amount of time to actually install all of that is harder to come by. Very little info out there about the Procharger in actual use...

...so Maggie it is.

Is it here yet???

Not to jump off subject but how many people have Maggies, HOB, APS, Procharger, and does anyone think that Vortech superchargers will be cheaper than the rest? For the price of the Maggie I would of got the APS...Something about Turbos turn me on...lol

Grats! I had myself completely talked into the cams but have started to sway towards the Maggie... I just need to flip a coin I think... Are there online instructions to see the steps involved? Guess I should quit being lazy and go search. :)

Edit: That was easy... http://www.magnacharger.com/pdf/Manual_GM_Pontiac_G8_2008.pdf

The install really played a big part for me. There is a good thread online about the Procharger install...and everyone has noted it is a LOT more work. The maggie should be an easy one day project.

It's A G8!

What did you pay for it? And are you going to install it yourself?

I will be doing the install myself, as noted it shouldn't take more than a day.
