View Full Version : Corsa Or Borla Cat Back?

I like em both and they have great reputations. Corsa Mufflers are specifically designed for the G8 with DOD and swear theres absolutely no drone. Borla has made the same claim but I have heard others say they have some drone. Can anyone give me a plus or minus on either to help me make up my mind?

The Corsa will probably be $2-300 more but I don't think it will drone at all. Corsa loves to make cars super quiet at idle and cruising, but mean as hell when you romp on it.

Borla gets my vote. I have a set on my 09 SMR G8 GT and no drone at any rpm.

Thats GRRRR8 news. How long have you had it on and are you running a stock cam and headers? Just curious. Thanks for the input. :)

Looking for more feedback from people with knowledge on corsa. Can it justify the additional 400 bucks in price on borla?

I would say yes. Corsa has been our prefferred exhaust for the GM cars for a long time now. It's great to be able to sell an exhaust you know will sound awesome outside, but not drone on the inside... I say its worth the money.

x2 That is the exhaust I have on my Grand Prix GTX and will be the only exhaust on my TBSS.
Well worth the extra money.

The only thing that is done to my car is a Valont CAI and the Borla cat back.
