It's been in storage since November, but we met briefly on Woodward last year. The wheels just showed up yesterday, so it will be out n about more until it's sold.

How much of the stock stuff do you have left? Still running the stock pulleys on the Maggie?

Stock manifolds and the stock airbox are all that's sitting around. Stock pulley on the Maggie, but I swapped the rear belt to be over driven. So it's making ~9lbs.

If this was around before I bought my new truck, it would've been in my driveway.

Hopefully this works. It should be a video of startup and idle. Having good computer speakers is the only way to appreciate this.

Any progress on the dyno sheet?

No dyno time available until June 23! I'm waiting patiently.
Free bump for the perfect car. I just dropped 14k modding my G8 over the llast 3 months and I am far from being this close to perfection. I hate when people say things like this, but it's true, "if I had seen this earlier my car would be for sale and this car would be in my garage." l wish it said owner financing!

lol.. no kidding.
That was kind of how I fell into this car. It was originally one of the Vector single turbo prototypes. So I thought I was buying a car that was already "done". Unfortunately, the motor ended up being done in a bad way. Modding these is a slippery slope and before you know it, you've invested a fortune. I've seen ads for some of the other high dollar G8s that are currently for sale and they look very nice. But I can say without hesitation that this car has every aspect covered with tons of room to add a lot more power for not much money.
I've also scheduled some dyno time at a different shop this Friday, so that will be answered.
If I could provide financing, I wouldn't sell it!
Also, I'm gonna try to shoot some video of it on the dyno and some drive bys and accelerations because it really has a mean sound.
Whoever ends up with this is gonna get a hell of a deal and be extremely happy.

Oh yeah, this was Matts (i think?) car at one time, and it was absolutely insane then, can't imagine what it is like now.
I wish I could pick this up...i'm going to post this at work.
I almost want to come by just to see it.
Cleanest 2008, and one of the cleanest G8s in general i've ever seen.

Wish the loan value was higher though. Lenders don't seem to care about mod value ;)

Yeah...I just sold one car. I just don't have the room for another, my G8 hasn't moved from storage in several months...I can't imagine having two sit :)
well, I could, but...reality bites. :)

Not sure how I feel about the validity of this, but it just made 472hp and 596ft/lbs. It was strapped on with no cool down and the cooling fans came on as soon as they started it to make the pulls.
They ran it again, without any time to cool down and it did 471.9hp and 641ft/lbs.
Runs were made at Speed Industry in Troy, MI. I'll get the graphs uploaded tonight.
hmm.

I'm certain it was totally heat soaked. I had been stuck in traffic on my way over and the car was already hot. They immediately put it on the dyno and started making pulls with zero cool down before and during. I have a supercharged Corvette also and it dropped 45hp once it was heat soaked. It's going back to the tuner for him to tweak it and see what it does. He'll be able to run it when it's cooler too, this shop I went to today fit me in between other customers because people have been asking for the numbers. Maybe I should have just waited. lol

Key issue, Speed Industry [who I am not a huge fan of after my friend sold it, but thats another thing], uses a Mustang dyno. They always read a bit low...I used one at the university I went to often enough. They are known for it. One other thing is that I've seen a few places who uses Mustang dynos not decouple the rollers when not using an AWD vehicle...soaks up some #s.
