So I noticed the fuel gauge is not working correctly and I have read that there are 2 sensors on/by the tank. Can you get to these, without dropping the tank, to check or replace them?

If you cut an access hole. Remove the rear seat and you'll see. The driver side has the secondary fuel level sensor.

One thing you can try is to put some Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner the next time you fill up. I have had luck fixing the same problem on other cars(not G8). Worth a try

I used a dremel to cut the holes out. I bought some sheet metal from Menards and cut it a little larger. I dimpled it before being pop riveted on.

I guess that's not that difficult but where are the sensors? Are they shown in any of your pics in that other thread?

The primary fuel level sensor is on the fuel pump itself.

Just put your cig out before you stick your head in, lol

I hate that they put the pumps in the tanks
