chrome door handles

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows if your able to remove the chrome part on the exterior door handle? just i would like to know so if i can get it out i can get it painted

I can remove the handle thats easy but the chrome insert in the handle im asking about

Guys, he's not talking about the same type of exterior door handles as on a G8.
