Here is a picture, for those of you who asked about it, of the suspension pieces from BMR, Eibach, and Pedders. Just one good pic loaded so far butI'll get more later.

You didn't re-install the tunnel brace?

Nope. Structurally, the stamped brace does absolutely nothing except add weight and get in the way haha. A Safety loop is gonna be installed soon anyway.

How much would all that run me?

You need to get that 427 to the track. Its gonna fly at 505hp+.

I wish it made that at the wheels. But I need too much "deniability" lol

Not sure what it would all cost everyone... I think they sell for about:

Springs: 265?
Swaybars: 340?
Subframe Connectors: 230
Trailing Arms: 140
Strut Tower Brace: 180 (do not buy a COMPLETE waste of money)

So how much would you say your handling has noticeably improved? Also, I'm compelled to ask why the strut tower brace was a waste?

In the near future, I'm thinking of doing a suspension mod or 2. Would the BMR trailing arms be the best bang for the buck?

Then what should I go with if I was only going to do 2 of the suspension mods? Subframe Connectors > swaybar?

* Any suspension gurus can chime in please..... :)

Thanks! :)

Mike go with the Pedders rear subframe bushings and the diff bushings to start.

I'm looking at the Pedders street 1 plus sway bars to reduce body lean. After that, I like to get progressive springs (stock ride height) and some better shocks, but not sure which direction to go for that. I've never used coil overs so I don't have any experience with the benefits and if they will address what I'm looking for. What I'm looking for in that regard is an even smoother, more absorbent ride with better overall suspension control. Expert opinions definitely welcome.

The STB is a waste because it doesn't tie into anything structural. It attached to two pieces of sheetmetal vs the actual body, so if it does deflect anything at all its just gonna twist the attachment points. The handling has improved greatly. The springs/swaybar/trailing arm combo worked great, especially if you want to maintain completely stock smoothness while driving, and improved response when entering/maintaining/exiting a series of turns. I have taken the car to a local road course (Carolina Motorsports Park) and the car is extremely re4sponsive in every aspect of the course. Two of the instructors drove the car around the track and loved it. I heard so many M3 comparisons it was almost comical. The best part was when a third instructor drove it, came back and said he didn't see the comparison.... "no M3 has ever pulled that hard down the straights and pulled through the corners viciously like that Beast" lol I told him I'll take that as a compliment

The Pedders strut tower brace attaches directly to the strut tower at the struts. You do have to drill 6 holes. The install should take about 1 hour. But the support is truly at the strut top itself

I was merely commenting on the BMR I have. If the Pedders installs directly to the towers it may help some.
