Went to the dealership today and what do ya know they had a black ss.
My first thoughts on the ss was its cool better looking then the g8 but only seeing pictures I wasn't that impressed.
When I first seen it in person I was blown away. The pics don't do any justice of the body lines, the stance, and styling.
I looked it over for about ten mins and a salesman came over as I was laying on the ground having a look up here skirt.
Sucks there only a useless auto.
Maybe after a few years I'll have one and working on another tranny swap.
Black still looks best IMO.

I found out one was sold at the Chevy dealership I go to routinely for service. Last week I noticed a red SS in their showroom and today at my gym I saw a red SS in the parking lot with tags from that very same dealership; I have a feeling it's the same car.

I saw my first one in person the other day. Drove next to it for about 10 minutes. I have to say it looked better in person than I thought it would, but if they had put a more exciting grill on it, I think it would be sooo much better. I did like the fake fender vents.

Black is the worst color to show the lines on this car IMO. The green looks fantastic as well as the red, can't wait to see a white one.

heading there tomorrow to have Anthony look at some of the scratches in the car. Maybe I'll take some pics with me in the car and send them to the wife :)

It was still dirty. I think the salesman said it was owned already. Hmmmm I guess my offer of $500 a Buffalo nickel and a firm hand shake wasn't enough.
I told him a one of a kind g8 sitting out front and a GMC truck with half the paint falling off out back would really bring in the buyers. He didn't take me serious at all.

So far I have seen all the colors in person but the Mystic Green. I was a critic of the SS until I seen them in person and my opinion changed. The SS is a nice car with some nice lines.
Im still not a fan of the Silver ones though.

The good news for all you manual lovers ..next year looks like the year for the 6 speed manual on the SS. I read a few articles stating that is one addition they are making for them next year.

I almost pulled the trigger on a Heron White one 2 weeks ago for a trade in with my G8 but the dealer drilled holes in the front fascia to add the license plate bracket ....thats a big NO NO for me. Killed the deal.

Same issue with mine. It came from VA and the first thing they did was rivet on the front plate holder. Got the dealer to get me a new lower grill at cost and I swapped it out when I did the Holden bits.
