Okay I keep seeing a lot of post about heater hose relocation and silicone radiator hoses. My question is why do you want to replace them? I think I know but please provide more information as to why you want to. Here are my thoughts:

Heater Hoses: 1. If you are replacing the engine cover you need to relocate them for this, right? 2. It moves the hoses away from the fuel lines which in turn would keep the fuel cooler, right?

Radiator Hoses: The only thing I could think of here was looks?

Thanks,
X

You pretty much nailed it. Looks and heat.

The heater hoses let you use just about any coil covers as well as remove intake cover, not to mention neaten up the engine compartment! Silicone hoses are more durable and are for looks.

With the Holden 2 pce covers you have a choice:

a) Relocate heater hoses.

or

b) Trim one cover front and rear to clear the hoses.
