Went to HRP tonight and ran for the first time. I was only able to get 1 run in, we got there late and someone broke a drive shaft and spewed tranny fluid all over the track. Sport mode with tcs on and my amp and sub in the back (forgot to take it out before I left). I did better than I thought I would considering it was my first time. :)

Pretty good! What kind of tires are you running on there? You might be the one to break my 13.50 stock record. Keep at it!

I was hoping to get at least 2 or 3 runs in but it was just too packed tonight plus the down time for cleaning the track.

That's probably why you had such a great time. I had the RS-As, and they were just horrible. I paid the extra cash for cheap rims and two drag radials for this year. Keep us updated.

Holy fucking shit! Nice stock times! Man, if you could have gotten a 2.0 60' time it probably could have been under 13.5

The best I could do stock was 14.0

Nice work...

I have found that the best time to get there is when they first open the gates. I was able to make back to back runs without waiting (not the best idea for getting the best times). It really gets crowded the later it gets. Plus, I have noticed some of the wilder cars get there early and leave early. Great times, BTW.

I noticed you are fairly local...do you ever run 1/8th at Angleton?

No, but a friend of mine used to. I'm not to big on 1/8th mile.

That's a decent 1st time out.
