Heads studs fit with in-car head swap?

Can head studs be used when pulling/installing the heads while motor (L76) in car? No clearance issues back by firewall? I have searched the board, no direct answer found.

I was able to do it with my studs I think. Not 100% sure. I believe the passenger side is a bit tighter.
I wont argue with someone else saying that you can not but I think I did. :uhm:

Thanks for the replies. I was planning on GM bolts, came across a deal on studs and may just pick them up.

I fitted head studs to my ve ss
Drivers side was a little tighter but overall very happy
Good time spent withy beast and I know she appreciates it
