LED Mirror Caps are here in the U.S. from our friends in Australia

Hey guys I wanted to let you know I found these from a company in Australia once I had them installed on my car I thought more G8 owners may want these as well especially the ones like me that want to be different. I have a install video on my website (not made by me) and I will work on a write up over this weekend on the install. The caps on our mirrors just pop off so these just go in place of the stock ones. The Led mirror caps are Made of great quality abs plastic to replace original caps and fit perfectly. A 6 amber LED strip is embedded in each cap with a smoke finish lens that sets flush with the cap. The LED caps come in Carbon Fiber finish, pre-painted black or chrome finish or ready to paint the color of your choice. Each cap comes with 31 inch long wires included which can be wired easily to the side markers from the mirror through the door to the side marker. The ready to paint ones are a grey. This do look really good when color matched. I will also have Chrome soon.

I want these the only problem is I have no one to paint them. The body shops around me aren't going to waste their time on such a small project. So I have to figure out if I want the black or get the unpainted and hold on to them until I fine a painter.

I think the Carbon Fiber finish would look good on your car since it has a silver in it. I am taking a set to my painter today and see what he says I am also going to have my fog light surrounds painted as well since I am going to be there. I will let you know what they say.

I am not sure about having both but I can tell you the LED strip is made so you can replace them. I can ask my LED guru guy on Monday.

BTW I use to live in North Jersey (Lake Hopatcong) and was a volunteer fire fighter. I do miss those days. Here in Florida all the FD are paid.

Since these are made in Australia they have to follow the motor vehicle rules. If you do find a dual led strip you can replace the strip since they are made to be replaced but I haven't found anything like that yet but I will keep looking as I like the idea.
