I didn't pay sticker or above. Most wanted $1000 to $2000 above sticker and here is what I told them:

"I cannot believe you have the audacity to ask me above sticker for an American made vehicle when the US automakers are on the verge of bankruptcy and begging congress for a bail out!"

That seemed to shut them up, except for one you said "but that's what my manager said I had to ask". Man, throwing his manager right under the bus! I know, I know, it is not American made but it got my point accross. But that is a little wrong, 4% was made in America!

I received the supplier discount and was able to talk them down some more plus 0%. All in all I feel really good about the deal I got.

Our dealer asked that we not disclose final amount we paid as they could not guarantee they would give everyone the same deal. However, I was really pleased with the purchase price. We have 6-speed manual with sunroof, received the supplier discount and the rebates final amount off the sticker price was approx $4850. So, officially I am not giving you the total amount but you can do the math.
