Here's the VE kit for a G8.
Please note the pin number in the Holden Instructions needs to be altered because G8 uses that pin for Onstar.

Interesting. Any pics of one installed?
Holden have pics on their website www.holden.com.au of most of their accessories installed.
However for VF I've noticed the 12V Power Kit endcap does not in reality look like their pictures.
No I don't have a picture of the 12V kit installed.

Since you're right by the battery, I'd just buy an in-line fuse and go direct to the battery. Then you wouldn't need the key on to use it!
