Magnaflow Axle-Backs installed

Just got home after installing the magnaflow axle-backs i just got today with a friend. They went right on the back of the full ARH 1 7/8's long tube header system. Me and a friend of mine put them in. It was pouring and we didn't have the right equipment (like ramps) but we did it anyway and improvised some ramps. you'll see lol. The sound over the stock muff's are much better IMO. They have a much deeper tone and do get much louder when you nail it at a drive-by. The stock mufflers were too dry for me. Here are some pic's. lol. we try. We use what we got. The right one is crooked and we can't figure out why. We tried over and over again. The left went right in straight with no problems. I'm going to Kaltech this friday for the tune finally. I'll ask Brian if he can look at it.

0h yes thats right. there is a drone up until 2000 rpms. It's a drone that doesn't really bother me. Its not like omg my ears are filled with water kinda drone. They still have to break in so things could change. past the 2000, inside the car seems to get a whole lot quieter. Don't really know why, but the same isn't true outside the car lol. Drive-bys sound great. I'll do a vid on the drone and drive by's etc tomorrow.

Paul, no worries. I'm gonna do the same video I did with the stock mufflers with the highway and all, with these. There is a noticeable drone up to 2000 rpms but to be honest it doesn't bother me. just turn on the radio and it's gone lol. Still didn't take it to highway speeds yet. Video of this should be up tonight along with some drive bys :)

Just curious, since per Wife's request, aint gonna get the headers etc... I am allowed and budgeted for a few things, 1) A tune by Chuck COW and 2). axle backs, so need to make sure I get something that wont drive the misses nor the kids nutz with drone as that would be a killer for me. ANyone have the Mag's on a totally stock exhaust system

It sounds good, pretty similar to my Borla axle backs with the stock exhaust system. It's definitely a lot louder than the stock mufflers if you ask me.

Sounds good Mario. Same as mine when I had the Magnaflows on. I noticed the manufacturer took the long route on the intake side.
