How to instal heated seats?

hello

i'm new member here in grrrr8 and also new owner of g8gt

i bought a G8GT with clothe interior which is doesn't have heated seats option

so i found leather seats with heated option and also i found the button for (heated seats and traction control)
my question is if i buy the seats and the button does the heater gonna work or i need more things to buy and install ?
please answer me and if someone did it before i want him to give me the steps :thumbsup:

I swapped to leather heated seats as well and purchased the traction control/heated seat buttons but the harness to the switch in my car is completely different than what the switches will accept.

Perhaps a different harness would take care of this but I don't know. I was hoping someone had already gone through this.

Can you take a picture of your electrical plugs at the base of your seat... (drivers side is on left side of seat)(the connection going into the floor)...

you would just need to supply power to them and a switch to turn them on/off....

If your interested in leather, me and G8ray have the leather fronts with heated seats and I also have the 6 way power adjustors with all the connections and everything on them... just matters what connection you have going into the floor.... just another option.,. ;)

I've been looking for leather seats for my g8 for awhile now with no luck. Would it be long shot to call around to pick and pulls in the area? Or perhaps do you know of anyone trying to get rid of there's for a decent price? Or thirdly.. would it just be cheaper to get some Katskin leather and do it myself from their kit they sell?

We have the two fronts in leather... all black... very good shape.... There was a for sale thread on it a ways back.... we don't the rear quite yet.... how ever... We could get the rear if someone really wanted it.... :)
