It's not totally flat underneath...it's a little curved to suit the curve of the grille.
Also has 4 rectangular tabs on the back, with no adhesive backing.

The accessory black (or red) grille surrounds only come as a set. One upper and one lower surround per set.
They're expensive.

I just wanted to give you both a heads up but it seems that C.P. is not shipping parts out at the moment. I'm not sure if this is a permanent thing or not but that is what I received yesterday in an email from him.
