Tickets go on sale Feb 24th. I'm going to pick up a few.

Tickets for spectators will go on sale on February 24th. Two day general admission tickets for Friday and Saturday are $30.00. Friday general admission is $15.00 and Saturday General admission spectator tickets are only $20.00 for adults. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-884-6472 or at the gate during the event.

Good deal, I'll look forward to seeing you there. Perhaps we could get an IN G8 gathering there???

That might be a good idea.

Several members from the Indy GTO/G8 forum are going to be there and some will be racing.

How much did they run you?

GM_Fan

$57 select seating for the two of us.

General Admission is only $20 for Saturday. I think children 11 and under are FREE with paying adult. 2 day passes start at $30. IIRC

I went ahead and got mine because of the Indy 500 that Sunday. The town will be packed with people looking for things to do.

Edit: My bad, the Indy 500 race isn't Memeorial Day weekend, but the week before, Sunday the 24th.

I'm sure spectator tickets are still available. I'm kinda Pd Off because when I checked for best seats there are some that are 9 rows lower than the ones I bought.

I tried.
You got them through ticketmaster?
I'll have to wait and see if any come up on craigslist.

I got them from ticketmaster (http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/05004252EDBDAD94?artistid=1126720&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=25). I checked and found the better seats after I saw your 1st post.

Evidently ticketmaster believes that the higher up seats are better than the lower seats. I've been doing it wrong all the times I went by being along the fence?

I did contact ORP about a GTG and informing the parking guys to get us together if intend to have X number of cars for the event.

I'm in Section A and about 8-9 rows higher than you.

I bet you are in row 21 or 22.

PantherGTBlack

Goto ticketmaster (http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/05004252EDBDAD94?artistid=1126720&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=25) select how many tickets you want at Best Available or West Side. East Side is General admission for this event

Friday's event is entirely General Admission. Saturday is the finals and has select seating.

The link above will goto Saturday's event. I noticed they are down to row 11 right now.

I may end up racing. I talked to a guy today that knows Jason. One of the guys that runs the drag racing over there. He said they are looking for 13 second cars to run.

Look out for a pale blue (sky blue) 1988 Buick Regal w/ tubs and cheater slicks. My old man is headed down that way. 350 w/ a 6-71 blower makin' around 800 at the wheels. Last time it was run it was into the 8's iirc. Was run once after it was built and made 3 passes. Have fun y'all

I'm not sure what time I'm going to get there right now. I'm taking the daughter, so I'm trying to gauge how long she can last.

What time are you going to be there Ray?

What about everyone else. Early risers? or noon time sleepers?

GM_Fan

G8 Ray says he has an extra ticket if anybody wants to buy it..

Sect A across from the start line row 26.
