Excited to see what changes this brings to the feel of the g8. I live California so I pretty much am tapped on mods. Unless you guys have some other suggestions. I am debating with getting tune from mr G or going to local tuner that does a lot of ls vehicles. But he does not have much experience with g8s.

Welcome!!! Did you get headers? I would install headers then get it tuned. It will wake her up quite a bit.

Did you install the VCM yet? if not take your time and make sure everything is done accordingly. I'm throwing lean codes like crazy since I installed mine and cannot find the reason why. Check out the VCM thread if you have questions. http://g8nation.com/showthread.php?t=35722

Not too sure what to tell you. I installed mine twice ..No joke ..I double and triple checked and I'm still throwing codes. I think this is the way VCM is. I read that a few never had an issue and I also read that a few threw codes also so your guess is as good as mine.
I don't care because I'm selling my G8 in the spring.

I started an "official VCM install thread" on the other board. Might find some tips there.

EDIT: Oops! forgot I did one here too!

No codes on my VCM either. Threw one on the first day, but that was before the revised breather tube was extended the the bung had literally fallen out of its hole. Since extending it properly, it makes a good seal and no codes all summer. I took mine off for the winter months, but cant wait until spring to get it back on. The sound of an intake in intoxicating.
