Is that a boost friendly cam?

Is that a boost friendly cam?

The cam does best with a Yank 3200ss or Coan 3200. I prefer to run the 219 intake duration but it will still work well with boost. The reason for running smaller intake duration for boost is to bring the power down to keep it from needing a stall A lot of times I run the 219/231 or 219/232 112+0 for Prochargers. Will still work good with a 1900 or 2300 without a stall but ruff 750 idle with a stock converter takes work to tune and is much easier with a stall. If using with a 1900-2300 with a stall, I would recommend something very tight. Just enough to loosen it up at idle.

I wouldn't use it with a turbo. Prefer a single pattern for a turbo.

This cam is the same as ChrisD but on a 112LSA vs a 111LSA.

Thanks Rick. I'm on a 12 degree split with a 3200 stall.

I've heard many good things about this cam, but am wondering how much I would benefit by going to it from my current setup which is: 224/230 .581/.590 114

Thanks Rick. I'm on a 12 degree split with a 3200 stall.

I would run a 227/227 .619/.619" 114+2 LSA, no more than a 231/231 .622/.622 114+2 LSA for a turbo setup.

Depends on your intake valves. The .625 is a bit aggressive for the stock intake valve, although it has done good with the Brian Tooley duals w/titanium retainer. It will probably pick up .2/2 mph Possibly more depending on what you are running now.

I'm running stock L76 intake valves with Livernois duals w/titanium retainer. Car has run a best of 12.26/114 (in I believe around -400 DA).

Since I have a stock stall, it's probably best holding off on this until I'm ready for a good stall.

I am running .625 on stock valves with dual springs from Livernois, and it has handled it...for now.
