We just received our first set of SuperPro front control arms (radius and lower controls arms) in from Australia and I will tell you guys that these arms are very very nice. The arms come with the SuperPro poly-urethane bushings already installed in the arms so you won't have to mess with swapping bushings. Now these arms are definitely a little pricier than the factory arms but for this price the SuperPro front control arms come with a lifetime warranty so if you ever have an issue with them you are covered.

With all the ball joint issues everyone has had with the factory control arms and going through multiple sets these could definitely be the cure to your LCA headaches. If anyone has any questions on these I would be more than happy to answer them or if I don't have the answer I will find out for you. We will have these arms listed up on our website within the next couple days.

SuperPro radius arms (TRC1001) - $477.76
SuperPro lower control arms (TRC1000) - $273.77

Here is what our SuperPro rep had to say about these LCAs:

"These control arms are made by the same company that builds all our other ball joints and tie rod ends so they are better quality than the OEM arms. The main updates we have done is that we use our bushings and add a larger internal lip to retain the ball pin for longer life and a little added strength."

I have some very good news for everyone!

Our good buddy Chewy here on the forums inquired with SuperPro directly on their LCAs and between that and me hassling them about the pricing we were able to get them to look into their pricing structure on these parts. After crunching some numbers they came back with some substantially better pricing on these LCAs. Here is how the new SuperPro pricing looks on these LCAs:

SuperPro radius rods (TRC1001) - $477.76
SuperPro lower control arms (TRC1000) - $273.77

We don't have any of these LCAs in stock right now but we are going to be getting a SuperPro order within the next couple weeks which should have 4-5 sets of these LCAs on it. If you are interested in picking up a set of these LCAs or if you have any questions let us know.

Remember these LCAs have a lifetime warranty on them so if you ever have an issue with them you are backed by the manufacture's warranty.

Here's what they told me at SuperPro.

On the technical side, the ball joints used in both of our arms utilise an encapsulated, heavy duty nylon style design, made to our specifications to ensure maximum durability.
The caster arms have the caster adjustment plates included in the kit to allow for caster adjustment.
The new pricing structure will close the gap significantly over the price of the individual components.

This pricing has literally gone down over 400 bucks on a full set of them. Keep in mind, they also come with their poly bushings already to bolt up and go!

I'm getting a set for the GXP since it has the stock bushings up front. My GT had Pedders up there and I can't go backwards with handling! ;)

That's a decent price drop and has me interested. Is it recommended to replace both the LCA's and radius rods at the same time?

Generally everyone replaces all four lower controls arms and radius arms at the same time but I honestly don't think that it would be a big deal if you didn't.

Also guys I adjusted the pricing again a little because I was given the wrong price by my boss so the they are a little more expensive than I initially posted but still way cheaper than they were.

IMO, the radius arms are the worst with their glycol filled bushings. They're SUPER soft and take away all the point and shoot handling these cars can potentially have. Replacing one set without the other isn't a problem, but I'd do all 4 and wash your hands of the issue.

I would definitely agree, out of the two set of arms the radius arms definitely improve the performance the most of the two.

Not a problem Matt, when you are ready just get with me and I will take care of you.

By the way I wish it would warm up here a little bit too! It is 55 degrees out and I had to wear a hoodie today. :D

I mean it got down to the 40s today so I had to wear jeans and a hoodie!

Three or four days ago it was in the 80s and we had beach weather and now I am waking up to frost on my windshield I wish Mother Nature would keep it in the 60-70 range where it is really enjoyable.

Kyle. Are the bushings in these arms stiffer then Pedders?. I noticed the radius bushing do not have the voids that the Pedders have that's why I ask. I would like stiffer lower control arm bushings since I worn out a set of Pedders one once already. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in responding back to you. The SuperPro bushings are going to be a bit stiffer than the Pedders bushings because they do not have those voids in them. Another thing to remember is that these arms do have a lifetime warranty on them so if you had an issue with the SuperPro bushings wearing out you would be covered but I honestly think that you wouldn't have any problems with the SuperPro bushings.

Ok sorry to act like a newb but I need some guidance plz.

I'm trying to order new LCA's, sway bars, and trailing arms. My hang up however is I'm not sure if the front pieces are called something other then an LCA?? (Radius arms in guessing maybe) and if I'm redoing them all.. how many of each do I need to order to complete the job with all new stuff?

Also I'm thinking about buying ya'lls subframe connectors also.. is it a necessity if I redo the other stuff I mentioned.. or can I hold off on those to save some money for now.

It is tax return season after all!! ;) lol
Thanks in advance, Daniel

BMR is going through a web admin change right now. I'd recommend emailing or calling them and asking for Kyle. I posted a thread recently stating this so do a search for BMR, and you'll see the phone and email for Kyle.

The front control arms are two part numbers.

Our SuperPro order has been received!!!! FINALLY!!!! They are out there right now, packing up the backorders right now. Don't think we get them out today, UPS usually shows up in about 10 minutes!!! But they will go out on Monday for sure!!! After backorders are fulfilled, and Executor's order above, I think we only have 2 sets left of the front lower control arms and radius rods. Get 'em while you can!!! I took a look at them....WOW, they look bad-@$$!!!! Wish they made them for the Camaro!!!

Stock with Pedders bushings

This is what I have for front arms now. Not sure if the ball joints are bad or not but do hear popping sometimes driving over speed bumps.

The arms on the GXP aren't bad, but the PO didn't put poly in them so I decided to say screw it and get theses with the poly. Everything else is poly so why not?

We are quickly depleting our recent supply of SuperPro front LCA's and Radius Rods. We only have one set of LCA's and two sets of Radius Rods left that don't already have a new owner. Get 'em while you can guys......it'll probably be a minimum of 6-8 weeks before we get any more in. Thanks for the recent orders guys!!!

Unfortunately, no, they went pretty quickly!!! We do have one set of the Radius Rods left (as of today), but all of the lower control arms are gone. We are expecting another shipment to arrive in about 2-3 weeks. We can certainly take your order for them to get your name reserved to a set (we don't charge your card until they are ready to ship). Just give me a call if you would like to do that.

I didn't... I got them and they're VERY nice. I removed one of my radius rods and was amazed to see they had poly in them. I knew they were updated arms because the PO told me he put them in, but he also told me he hadn't put the poly into them. I guess he misunderstood me or something. So, I saw NO reason to replace good arms until they're needed. My reason for buying these was to put poly up front. I guess I'll hang onto them. ;)

Do I only need the lca's for my noise issue?

Front suspension noises can be caused by a multitude of things. LCA and Radius Rods are a big one, but sway bar end links and upper strut bushings and bearings can make noise as well.

As Chewy said, the G8 is well known for problems with front LCA's, sway bar end links, and upper strut mount bushings. If you determine that your problem is an inner bushing on the LCA, we also sell SuperPro Poly Bushing replacements for the LCA's.

Any updates on the arms. They have been out long enough for some reviews from customers not vendors. No disrespect meant I would just like to hear from an independent person if they are worth the money. I have had several cars with BMR parts and have yet to be disappointed so I expect good reviews. Thanks for picking up the ball on the stock parts that fall short.

I understand completely! We've sold hundreds of these arms, so I'm sure there are quite a few guys on here running them. I will say that out of all the SuperPro arms that I have sold, I have only had one customer with a problem with a loose ball joint, and we replaced the faulty arm for him. And just to let you know....the inner bushings are warrantied for LIFE, everything else on the arm carries a 3-year warranty.
