Costco Whsitler LR-300 - $99

Costco has this radar/laser detector for only $99!

Works well. I've got her set to City1, Filter1 on, VG2 off, and there are little to no false alerts.

Can't beat the price IMO.

Mostly using it for interstate traveling, and has sniffed out a few hiding.

I've noticed it will turn it self off after 4 or 6 hours....which is good since I leave it on all the time.

For $99, you can't beat it IMO, and if you don't like it, you can return it.

I haven't seen them in store in MI in a long time. I have a Whistler from there, and a Sensoro [that is awesome, and ancient]. The V1 lives in my daily driver.

So, since I last posted, I've left it on Highway mode. Less falses that way, really only picks up cops and store entrances.

I've found you can turn off the radar by putting it on the lowest volume setting, before actually switching it off....that may be why it's only $99.

Picks up LEO's well enough for me, and has saved me twice so far.

I have the same unit. I noticed that my WAZE app works much better for me. I guess since I am in the city its updated more frequent might not work so well for the country side.
