I am looking into buying a g8 gt and I have a few questions.
1. How are they in the winter?
2. Is there anything I should look for when looking at the cars.
3. Any other advice on these cars would be very helpful.

Ive had no trouble w/mine in the winter. Blizzaks help of course.....
as for questions 2 and 3, LCA, collapsed strut bushings and lifter tick are good starting points. *Yoda voice* Search the site you will find your answers young Skywalker...

Check out my for sale thread I have a gt for 18k with some goodies!
Winter is great in the g8. I have used blizzaks and loved the way the car handles. I know that it was sketchy with the summer tires when it snowed in may lol

Sounds like the same issues my 04 gto has. I dont drive the gto in the winter actually hardly at all except for car shows.

I have driven mine in the winter. Just like any other RWD vehicle. Like others have said LCA's and lifters and 2-3 trans flare

Drive mine year round, winters a breeze even with the power/rwd. Just take her easy, and let the tank do its business.
