Aeroforce Interceptor owners please chime in:
1/ Can you guys with the "G8" logo on your aeroforce post pictures of the gauge with the G8 logo. I could not find a good picture and wanted to make sure it looks good.
2/ For a triple gauge to ODB2 setup, do you guys just plug to the ODB2 or do you run a 12V switched source to the gauge to shut of power when car is off.
3/ If connected and powered from ODB2, does the gauge drain the battery if car seats for a while?
4/ Lastly if someone wanted to one day connect a wide band O2 sensor to one of the gauge plugged to the ODB2, can one run a lead from the analog connectors of one of the gauge during install and let the wires seat in an easy to reach location as to not tear through the dash again (what are the gain and intercept to set the gauge to for the wide band you used)? That one gauge can share input from ODB2 and analog for a wide band O2 sensor? (one parameter would be A/F from the analog feed and another parameter would be any other from the ODB2).
Many questions, but I hope you can help shed some light on the above.
Tks

1. The G8 looks like crap its a small sticker and does not look right in my opinion, sorry no picture though I took em off and painted them like this.

2. I just run em off the OBD
3. I dont think so no worse than listening to your radio for a bit with the key off.
4. The wide band is its own kit if you have the kit at the time of instal I don't see why you couldn't run them to avoid doing it again later.

Semperfire,
Thanks for the feedback, that is what I was afraid of. Looks like the "SS" logo I have seen on some aeroforce gauges look better than the "G8" logo. I believe the bottom picture of the gauges is unmodified aeroforce gauges (with options).

I like what you have done on yours.

That does look a bit better than the G8 sticker. I might have the others in the box still I can look later.

Why don't you guys match the badging font? Not a fan of the cursive look, I must say...

Limited to supplier's font options...except for the few of us that have connections....

I can't answer that one because I just have the stock aeroforce logo but do like drumsbh's idea. I might have a buddy that can hook me up. :uhm:
2/ For a triple gauge to ODB2 setup, do you guys just plug to the ODB2 or do you run a 12V switched source to the gauge to shut of power when car is off.
I ended up getting a duel set that goes to the OBD2 and one analog to use for my boost and A/F ratio. The duel set powers off about 30 seconds after engine stop and the other gauge is connected to a 12V switched source that turns off right away.
3/ If connected and powered from ODB2, does the gauge drain the battery if car seats for a while?
I don't see any issues with draining my battery.
I just went with the analog one so I did not have to worry about that issue. I had to buy a sending unit to read boost and I also got their wide band sensor for the A/F.
Hope that helps you out some.

Drumsbh, I appreciate it but had to place the order and went with the "SS" logo. I thought it looked best out of the available options.....Thanks
