It depends on what pulley sizes you are using front and back. It also depends on the restrictions that occur after it. Cam, heads, headers can all affect this. With more information you could get an estimate on it. Best option is to use a boost gauge or MAP readout.

Stock TVS with stock engine is supposed to be 6 psi.

You need a boost gauge.

thanks for the reply,s gents ,i do have a scan gauge 2 fitted to the car and that is surposed to read boost but not sure it,s right ,will get a boost gauge and plum in can you tell me were i would have to fit this on the tvs a picture would be good,,on another note still trying to find someone to help in the uk with my box tune to read my engine tune and install new box tune ,i have emailed pat g and he can sort me a box tune just need to find some help over here ,on the boost side again its got standard size 1 to 1 on the back and 3.2 on the front

1:1 on a 2300?
My 2300 is running a 1:1 rear and I am using a 3.6" pulley. I'm running about 7psi with my current mods

Not sure if this info is already here, If not hope some of you find it helpful!

The stock boost for any Magnacharger TVS 2300 Supercharger Kit installed upon any 2010 / 2011 Camaro 6.2L V8 with a 3.80" Magnacharger Pulley installed on it is only 6 psi at wide open throttle.

- 3.60" pulley: expect 2.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 8.0 psi
- 3.40" pulley: expect 4.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 10.0 psi
- 3.20" pulley: expect 6.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 12.0 psi
- 3.10" pulley: expect 7.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 13.0 psi
- 3.00" pulley: expect 8.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 14.0 psi
- 2.90" pulley: expect 9.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 15.0 psi
- 2.80" pulley: expect 10.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 16.0 psi
- 2.70" pulley: expect 11.0 psi. more boost over stock pulley -Total boost 17.0 psi

so looking at this mine will be around 10/12 pounds of boost .please correct me if i,m wrong have sent for a boost gauge to check it

If you have headers and such it can drop the bosst number a couple psi from the stock exhaust.

Correct and the numbers above seem pretty close.
I'm using a 3.6" pulley and running between 6.5 and 7 psi (depending on the day)
I have cam and headers.

Keep in mind the camaro is 1:1 and the G8 2300 comes under driven.
Also the G8 2300 and 1900 both come with a 3.3 pulley out of the box

no headers and no cats with custom exhaust and a cam ,tuner says they tune to the point were the puel pump can,t keep up and then back it down to a safe level if that makes sense ,estimates the fuel pump can only surport 650 to 670 fly bhp ,cost of a new pump 1000 pounds fitted ,water injection going on in a few weeks devils own kit .thanks for all your replys rick

need more help gents just fitted a devils own w/meth kit to the car and its not working ,problem is i.m only getting vacuum pressure from the tvs not boost pressure even when having a drive round at revs up to 3 thousand ,checked bypass valve that seems to be working fine any ideas ,

Just to clarify, you're using the boost port at the rear of the blower for reference, not one of the three ports at the front, right?

Check all hose routing?

using boost port at the rear all wired and plumed in correct,so rigged up a air line to the boost adjuster and set air pressure to 7lbs ,started car and appied the air pressure and it works fine ,so put pipe back on charger nothing ,only getting vacuum form charger

put a boost gauge on today and went for a drive ,round town upto 2000 rpm vacuum of 15/20 lb,s upto 3000/3500 rpm just gets out of vacuum but car does,nt start making any real boost till 4000/4500 its then about 6 ilb,s and at wot of 5000 rpm and above about 10/11 lb,s of boost .the car is fitted with a cam and tvs 2300 ,doesnt seem right what do you guys think

Doesn't seem right. I am building boost by 1300 rpm, at 90% of peak boost at 3000 rpm. Your cam timing may be way off? Maybe a huge leak somewhere or the bypass valve is off.

any more ideas guys ,been trying to find out more about what rpm the bypast starts to shut or how its operated by load

Greg@PacePerformance

the bypass is vacuum based not RPM.

I can be driving at 6K rpm with light pedal pressure and no boost or be at 2K rpm in full boost.

It operates by vacuum, when the throttle opens past a certain point vacuum decreases which closes the bypass valve and then you have boost.

so if the bypass valve is faulty that could be the problem ,any way to check this .also will a boost gauge measure the boost or does it have to be done with the map sensor and hp tuners to get a true reading

hi guys still not got to the bottom of this so few more questions ,is it the map senor or trottle postion senor that cuts the vacuum to the bypass value and allows it shut really need all your help guys as always no one over hear can help

I'd check all your hoses routing etc. use the instructions link below if you need to. The bypass actuator is directly controlled by vacum and has a hose that is connected to the magnacharger intake (after tb) I'd check there first.

right might of found the problem ,put the boost gauge back this morning nice and early so the roads were quite and the w/meth pipe up under the wipers , then before i went out i open fully the bypass valve by hand and let it snap shut half a dozen times and went out ,town driving stays in vacuum, 2700 rpm under load gives me 6 lb,s of boost then floor the peddle and straight up to 10 lb,s of boost so all i can think is the bypass valve must of been sticking partly open and thats why it was all over the place
