Switchblade Key Fob Battery Change?

I can't find my owners manual for the life of me. How do you change the battery on the switchblade key fob? I can see where it seperates, but I can't figure how to release it without breaking it. Also, does the Key Fob need reprogrammed after the bat change? How do you do that? Dealer visit? Thanks Charlie!

According to the manual, the RKE transmitter has a lithium battery which should last about 3 years.

Have the battery replaced if the "Replace Battery in Remote Key" displays in the DIC or if the transmitter stops working. Instructions on 4-27, see your dealer to replace the battery.
