Snowing and raining like a sunnabich, shaking from the cold, so 2 pics only. The Pacific Slate Metallic is mucho fine. Soon as we have some sun (AHHAHAHAAHAHAAAAA) I'll try again. Man, it sure felt good to plop into those heated leather seats. They have improved the TCM programming a lot, but nuthin' like a VMS tune. Flash xpress is on the way.

But finally home. I gotta say, I forgot how scarey quiet these things are w/o exhaust mods. Boooooooooo!

So now the remoding begins. :p

Nice car. I think you will like your G8. Welcome to the club. They are fun cars.

Just joking, hope your wife is doing good. How do you like the PSM over the MGM?

That's another peice of mis-information from Al Gore. I love Los Cabos!

"PSM over the MGM" It's been garaged long enough now to be dry. Been out in the garage hugging it.

I'm in love!:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

Thanks CP! 10-14 days and the Pontiac emerges from it's GM cocoon and is reborn as a HOLDEN. It's just right! :p

Are you sure it's not a "Stealth" Chevy??? (Judging from your rear plate.....)

I have just the ticket for "riceing it up..." 17" wheels and tires!!!!! New 09' retro look!

These are staggered 17"-8" & 17"-9" Shuk Wr -1's off my GTO. Fronts are 245-45 and rears 275-40. Speedo is off about 4%.

Since USAA Insurance (the liable party) has decided that if they pretend all this never happened, maybe it will go away.....I decided to keep the wreck and take the mods off at my leisure (Ha!)

My wife seems to be getting better every day when she remembers to take her meds.

Manofsteel69, my friend, I hadn't thought about that, so thank you for reminding me. :p

I'll go see if I can get that sunshade off of the wreck!!!:nah:
ROFLMAO.

I know some of you aren't gonna want to hear this, but my 2009 GT shipped without any holes or mounting brackets for the front plate. The Plate & screws are in the trunk, no holes!!!!!

Penguins are very elegant. Who else would wear a tuxedo 24/7?

It's that lingering aroma of rotten herring that spoils the effect. :p

Well, lesee here. Got most everything pulled 'cept the exhaust system. Got a tow truck coming after noon to haul it to the RV parking in front of the house.

Then he will lift the "sort of" car so I can get under the back to grab the exhaust. The ricer rear sunshade is a goner. Sh*t that's some seriously strong tape that holds that on. My hands look like I stuck them in a fan blade....repeatedly. The front of the car had smashed back into where the ECM hides. 2 hour struggle, but I finally got it and was able to slow the bleeding somewhat. Then I remembered that I have 3 of the little bastiges. WTF did I do that for?

Amazing story: The cone filter at the end of the New Era CAI was almost totally flat. With some trepidation I stripped the adhesive insulation off the tubing and, ????? Hardly a scratch! Between the flexible silicon and the stainless steel tubes, it is just fine. Anyone know what # the K&N cone replacement is? :p :woohoo:

Did you keep the box? Otherwise PM Mike. K & N has a website with all numbers and specs. OK pricing. Seem to remember that it was an off-road filter before I returned it and bought R. F..

Glad you're able to salvage most things!
