Hey Greg, thanks again for taking the time on the phone the other day with my lengthy order and also the savings with the grrrr8.net discount!!! I did forget to ask, when doing the swap from the stock LS3 MAF to the card style do I need to swap any wires around? I remember reading about that somewhere but can't find it now. I'm not sure if that was only on the L76 engines or both the L76 and the LS3. Thanks for any help you or anyone else can provide with the question.

Yes you do... Two wires get swapped... Search ls7 card maf pinout ls3... You're bound to find it. And yeah, Greg is a good guy!!!!

STL_G8GT, Thanks a ton for that link!!! Judging from that it looks like four wires need swapped though instead of only two. The pink (pin B) and black(pin C) wires for the ground and 12v and also the brown/red (pin D) and brown/white (pin E) wires for the low reference and IAT sensor signal. Is that correct, all four wires need swapped? Thanks again for that link! I noticed you are from Estes Park CO. very jealous, absolutely beautiful place to live!!!

How exactly do you swap out the wires? Just put a jewelers flat tip screwdriver in the smaller slot below the wire you want to remove to "unlock" the wire?

Yes, this.

I hear people say just swap wires.

Well...how does one go about that?

Either cut and splice before the plug, or release the pins and swap

Yes there will be a release tab that requires a small screwdriver or pin

Sorry... If you do some searching for Molex connectors you can see the typical pin design and how it should come apart.

Everyone, thank you for the helpful information and also the tips for actually getting the pins out. I have worked with them before, some come right out and others it doesn't matter, they are just a pain in the ass lol. Hope you all have had a great Memorial Day weekend!!!

Does anybody know which couplers are needed to be bought with this mod? I already ordered the sensor and 102mm housoing. I have a Rotofab now.

Do I just need ONE 4" coupler for the filter side to MAF housing? OR am I in need of a second reducer from MAF to intake tube (to TB) 4" to 3.5"?

That's not a rotofab (couplers and tube are AFE).

Rocket69GTP posted one with the same couplers fitting the new Housing. Maybe I'll be ok. Awesome.

Thanks gentelmen.
