My rear bumper does not match the rest of the car... at first I really didnt notice it but know 3 people have made comments and well I cant handle it anymore :) anyone else have this? Im wondering if the dealership had it repainted for some reason?? or just another quality GM prduct?

I've noticed it too on my sport red one. It's a little off.

Yeah, it's all the paint on the plastic that is a different color than on the metal.

Not enough primer I would say. It's been a problem for years down unda.

It has nothing to due with primer or anything. It has to do with the paint.. when they paint plastic parts they need to use a flexible paint which has different additives in it. It needs to be flexible because plastic parts bend! especially in shipping and installation. These additives change the color slightly at angles.. don't ask me why because I don't know lol. If you look at the car square on it matches fine it is only when you get at a slight angle. I think it has to do with the shine or something.

i thought it may be the flex agent but my front does not have this problem... Ow well I guess I will have to live with it.

I solved this problem on my 09' Spt. Red by looking thru ROSE COLORED GLASSES.

There is a possibility that it was repainted at port during inspection, GM created a company specifically to repair cars damaged in shipping or the yard. Shoot me your VIN if you want me to find out if its one of those.
