View Full Version : Dress-up Vacuum hoses

still trying to decide on best material to replace the factory rigid plastic vacuum lines. as you can see in the pic, I've replaced the long one with blue silicone hose. I had braided steel on there but the seal was suspect. There are 2 more vacuum lines plus the catch can lines that await change.

What do you guys think? Like the blue? Rather see black? Something else entirely?

I replaced the line that came with my catch can. Didn't need heater hose, it as too think.
Used fuel line hose, more pliable. I didn't see anything in color at the local parts store, and haven't taken the time to look online.
I didn't even powdercoat the catch can.

My catch can is plumbed with 3/8 fuel hose. just looking for prettier at this point but I'm afraid too much blue might look weird.

The blue will clash with the red. I believe they make that hose in red.

Not shitty! No dont take it wrong, I think if a trick vac harness was made from the blue it could work. Blue is a funny color when it is near red. Let me study your pics and see if I can long distance a plan for you.

It's a bit bright....

I would go with a matching red, or black.

Of course, no one is going to even notice them with all that there plumbing youse got!!!!! Mercy!!!!!!! Lookin FAST!

If you guys don't think it'll be overkill I'll order up some red. Its pretty cheap anyway so we'll see what it looks like.
