Scammer alert! Jonathan Taylor

There is a scammer on the boards trying to steal transmissions, turbos, suspension parts for a G8 454LSX.
The name he used was Jonathan Taylor. He is from Deerfield Beach Florida
He said he owned a shop called Express Car Care & Racing Fabrication.
If you google the number for Express Car Car the number comes back to Best Concrete and many other company names.
His number is 954-993-4106.

Do not accept checks from him (they are bogus). You will get taken. He hit up almost all the sponsors on LS1Tech.

I got duped. $2100 worth of G8 fuel system. It might be worth getting a cheap flight and rental car to see what's going on. I talked to him on the phone this morning but he's not calling back.

With this out on all the G8 forums and camaro forums I cant imagine he will hide for long!!!!! We are very recognizable cars!!!

I talked to a detective in Ft Lauderdale about him today. His real name is Brandon Smith and he's got like 12 warrants on him currently so they have been trying to find him for two years. He has a black G8, no idea if it's stolen but the detective said that's his game so it probably is. Guy here in disney used prepaid credit cards billed to his room. Racked up $100000 in drinks and merchandise over 6 months till they caught him. He would leave before they actually realized the prepaid cards didn't have enough.

You would think so, shouldn't be too hard to do but who knows. I bet I could fly down there and find him, he is blasting around in a 454 G8 so how many of them are there. He's apparently got a Buick of some kind now, too.

Internet sales companies still take out of state personal or business checks?

Andy, I just checked and he does not own any real estate that I can find. If he did (or does in the future), you may be able to place a lien against it (may have to go through small claims court first). Just a thought. You could recoup losses when the property is sold.
