Yesterday I was going over the Fred Hartman bridge headed to Clear Lake when I see a nice little LS2 GTO coming up behind me. We looked at each other, got next to each other, slowed to about 70 and went for it! He pulled a fender on me and stayed there for a while, when I let off @120, my front bumper was on his back bumper. I would say I did fairly well. He had a catback for sure, but nothing major. No LT's or anything. Atleast i know where I stand now. :nud:

You want to run most cars like that from a dead stop or 30mph roll. Going from 70 is not to your advantage.

yeah I know, it wasn't planned. He just ran up on me so I figured 'what the hell.' I have a buddy in baytown with the same car but full bolt ons. I'm going to run him from a dig. While he is spinning, I will be pulling.

Starting from 70 is kinda high and our cars(not sure if the GTO was M6 or A4) have to downshift before getting that power down.
