I got my car to the track last night for the first time since the latest round of mods. Because it was my oldest son's prom night I got to the track pretty late, after 8:00. I got there and did a 3rd gear pull. The tune was very close, but a little rich. I forgot to bring the cable so I could transfer the log to my phone to send to G8-4-Speed. G8 GT V8 ended up setting up a hotspot for me, but I did not get Ricks revised tune early enough. I did make the change to the fueling he recommended. Next run was a full one. 11.277 @ 127.75 not quite a PB, with a PB mph. The important thing to note is that it was with a lousy 1.9 60', worse DA than the PB, the shifting not quite right yet, and a slippery track. So, it has potential :-) Next run the car fell flat on its face before the 1/8. After Rick looked at the log it tagged redline. After that the track closed.
Rick has made a few more changes to the tune. I cannot wait to get back to the track again. Hopefully earlier so I get more runs in! I need to learn to launch it again. It has 10s written all over it once I hook and we get the shifting working well. The important part for now is that every thing worked and held together.
