AFM/DOD Deactivation...........Electronically?

I've never really had any issues with AFM in my GT. Is this mostly just for the way the car sounds with AFM activated?

It can be done with a Cortex tuner also, probably others too but I have not tried those.

Pretty common, a friend of mine who does some tuning on the side from his day job does it all the time, apparently.

I turned mine off via Cortex. When I first bought the car, I thought the rear end was going out. I don't miss that DOD on/off vibration at all.

Well, with a GM warranty, I didn't want to anger the gods.
Got the AFM Eliminator module last Thursday and couldn't be happier with it's operation. Plug and play with a V8 only. No more V4.

But that's just me.
