Can anyone jump in here and list the benefits of getting a ported intake & throttle body, especially with a cam upgrade (Livernois stage 1)? Any loss of bottom end torque or other liabilities? I've heard that you can gain 10 - 20 rwhp and the throttle response is more crisp. Anything else? Approximate cost for each?

not sure about the exact HP benefits, but you will feel more responsive.

New Era Performance will do the throttle body for $75 and the intake for $200.

I thought that New Era was only doing ported thottle body's and not porting the intake manifolds?

If so, I might have to drive out there to get the ported TB & Intake, (and underdrive pulley) before I do my cam swap.

Call Jeremy at FasterProms too(site sponsor). He did mine, and there is def. an improvement, even with stock airbox and exhaust. Think he's running a sale too maybe.

Just another option, as I know he does both.

Since this has been discussed a couple times, and a site sponsor has it covered, I'm closing this one.
