Anyone looking for a 2300 Maggie? I may be parting with mine to help recoup some of the manual conversion costs. Not exactly for sale yet, but I would be willing to let it go for a good price. Especially if the buyer wanted to help me put all of the stock stuff back in it. It's a chrome 2300 with stock pulleys and such. Just want to drive the car without worrying about breaking more stuff.

dunno. They are the Elbrus I06. Apparently Tire Rack doesn't sell them anymore and I'm having a hard time finding the rim specs so I don't know if I can answer that question directly. These are the Silver Machined with Ice Coating if that matters. I can't find them on tire rack as they keep saying that it isn't available for the G8. However, a quick search on the interwebs show that tire rack sells them for about $85 plus tax and shipping. The tires are on closeout for $177 each. PM me if you're interested. I took some photos today and can send them to whomever wants them. Was going to give this thread a day before posting it on the general for sale section.

Anyone bored today and want to come help me put my car back together? It's up on stands now and I just have electrical, exhaust, and fluids to finish. Need to go to the dealer today because I squished one of the water pump seals accidentally last night trying to reinstall the accessories.

Dustin and I made some GREAT progress yesterday. Got the exhaust completely installed and installed the starter four times before we it everything done. :)

Now I just need to get some time to work on getting the rest of the wiring done for the wideband then I can reassemble the interior. Probably just going to tow it to the dealership to have them bleed all of the fluids and reprogram the gas pedal.

Dustin is the man, thanks again for the assist. Just another reason I love this forum :D

I'll help with the diff also. Only takes about 2hrs on jack stands.
Dmarple the hardest part is getting them damn bolts loose and getting the stub in and out.

Do it!!! Autos are for old lazy people. "But there so much faster and you'll miss gears" there less effecent and I don't drag race. And if I did I'd dog my 6060. No lift no clutch shifting! Now who shifts slow?

cool. I think I'm going to do a bunch of work all at one time. Planning on swapping out the clutch so I can use the katech ls9 unit for some more streetability. Then while I have the trans out, I'm planning on swapping out the diff, replacing all of the rear bushings, and pulling the gas tank to upgrade the fuel pump.

Update got down to the shop and had some fitment issues on our way to get parts it starts to rain ..... I forgot say we are in my friends 1300 hp vette . So it starts to rain we are on The highway in Vegas that floods easily be cause they don't know how to build roads out there. We slow down to 50 than 40, finally only a mile to go till our exit and bam car hits what felt like a lake and we go spinning into the wall. Thankfully the whole front end of the car was not damaged in the crash so it didn't mess up any of the expensive goodies under the hood. When we finally got home my truck was towed ... Long story short my g8 will be getting pushed to the back burner for a bit will let every one know any more updates
