But the good news is, it's only expected to be a cat1. However the real evil are the tornadoes that form on the north east quadrant of the beast. Make sure you're on the safe with family and G8.

Oh yeah, have bck up battery or\for laptop so U can keep posting...LOL!

Best of luck!

Cheers!

Shouldn't be too bad. Just hope we don't lose power, generator is buried in my shed under about 2 tons of shit.

The storm surge is the real bitch... My parents are right on the water so it's more so for them I suppose.

Looks OK for Marco but things change.

Hang on tight!

My generator is still in the box from Wilma...

Hopefully Fay will be just a rain event.

I have found the best websites to monitor are: flhurricane.com and weather underground.

Let us be prepared for the worst and hope for the best, and let’s not be overly pessimistic.

These monsters have been known to break apart at cat4 to cat1 just at the gate, and a one to a storm is not out of the realm of possibility.

That said, not to hijack the tread or anything, but I have seen links to severe weather or items of interest on some boards on the top somewhere, anyone think this type of thing could work well for this board?

Just a thought…

Cheers!

Only problem is...Hurricanes are just like ex-wife’s…They come in wet and wild and leave U empty handed.

Looks to be heading for Naples and Ft. Myers. Glad I'm not there.....

NBC-2 down there says speed is erratic from 9-15mph. Wobbling around and slightly intensifying.

Nothing like Wilma though. Tree and plant damage in that one in our 112 unit neighborhood was well over 100K. No broken windows and NO insurance claims, but they raised premiums 300%.

Hurricane Charley only downed 3 trees.

LOL!

That’s the main reason I hate those F*ckers they use any and every excuse for a chance to rob U blind and they have the full arm of the law and the mortgage banks on their side to screw U over worst than the Evil Empire.

But that’s just me! :headbang:

Yeah but mine only have to do with dry boxes! LOL!

Speaking of wet boxes that two timing Fay is giving it up all over the map! :whipit:

I wonder who she’s gonna blow next, and how our guys on the forum are making out…

Well, going to be a long night. The storm is stalled over East Central Florida (Titusville) and my roof is leaking in the kitchen! So far 3 buckets. Who knows how many by morning (time to go to work). Oh well, had to happen, first TS since house built. Thankfully, not a roof problem but a flashing (no not naked) problem... Stay up late and watch...
