Have any of you heard about the dealer ECM tune that is supposed to be available? I have heard it costs around 300.00 and may have warranty implications? Is it any good?

new to me but wouldnt surprise me.... give us a terrible tune when we buy the car so we have to spend extra money to make it work the way it should :nud:

Local Pontiac dealership here in Jacksonville said there was one that was supposed to be coming. Didn't give a lot of details.

Some dealers do have the tune. I believe it was dubbed the "400HP" tune or something like that. Obviously not to popular.

Dealer just swore that none is available. I know I read it somewhere.

I had heard that they were doing this for the Solstice GXP and Sky Redline. It bumped the output by 30 hp and 45 lb-ft (I am sure on the hp, but not the tq). I think the price was also $300 and did not void the warranty.

The last I heard there was a dealer that was doing the Vector tunes for customers, but that was like 4 months ago at least.

My bro-in-law works @ the dealership I bought mine at in the parts/service dept, and he's never heard of anything like that.

My dealer's sales manager said something about the 400hp tune when I asked him...he was a little vague about it or I don't remember.

Anyway I'm not sure if it would really be 400hp...
