Checking in from central CA. My 5.0 Mustang (no throwing things please) lost its oil pump and ground down two days before Christmas. On the 26th I picked this up down in West Covina. The Tundra is my bos- er, wife's truck:

These G8s truly are refreshingly big chunks of Pontiac excitement. I don't see anything else with a solid, reliable V8 engine and killer supporting parts from anyone else, at least not for under $60K, which is what I was quoted for a Lexus ISF :puke: I dropped $25K for my GT...
Looks like it's going to get just software updates and CAI/headers/mid-pipe/tune in the next year or so. That'll leave money/time for me to finish the other two, well now three, cars in the build queue. By then the warranty will probably be up and I'll peek at the APS kit. Then again, it's a great daily driver as it sits. My right foot is killing my mileage though. I need to turn the overspeed warnings back on :popo:
It'll sure be nice to have AC and other creature comforts as the year wears on. That's the almost-40 year old talking. The 12 year old inside still digs the fast cars and MX bikes. heh
Looking forward to hitting this bookmark often.

PS Couple other cars. The white one is the one that just lost its cookies, the Formula is apart for a 383 and paint (owned that one from new):
